General Information

Ara Dinawan Island is a private island located in the southern part of Kota Kinabalu . It is accessible by land transfer then about 30 minutes by speedboat. Activities such as volleyball and kayaking are also available on the island. In additional, there is a water park on the island. The island is surrounded by crystal clear water. Mount Kinabalu is visible when the weather is fine. As Dinawan Island is located near the equator and it is a tropical rain forest, therefore there is no obvious four seasons. The average temperature is between 26-30 °C. It is suitable for visit throughout the year.

Booking Cancellation
(a)  30 days to 15 days before arrival – 25% of the trip’s full price will be forfeited.
(b)  14 days to 8 days before arrival – 50% of the trip’s full price will be forfeited.
(c)  7 day before arrival and No Show– 100% of the trip’s full price will be forfeited.
An administrative fee of MYR 150, bank charges, credit card charges and any exchange rate losses must be applied.

  • Things to bring/wear : swimwear, suitable trekking shoes/sandals, rubber slippers/flip-flops, insect repellant, sun block, torchlight/headlamp, towel, extra clothing and light clothes to wear to jungle trekking.

  • In the event of cancellation due to bad weather condition or unforeseen circumstances, fully refund or change of travel date is allowed.
  • The company will not be responsible for any property loss or injury suffered during the trip.
  • Child rate applies for children between 4 - 12 years old, based on YEAR OF BIRTH only.
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice at the discretion of the government (if Any).

Additional information

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Should you wish to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, we will collect 10% of tour fee as administrative fee; cancellation less than 7days will deduct 50% of tour fee; cancellation less than 3 days full cancellation charged. If the product relate with 3rd party service (Air Ticket, Accommodation, Mount Climbing & etc) will require to refer back to 3rd party Terms & Conditions & the company will still collect an extra 10% of tour fee as administrative fee.

Tour Type

Sit-In-Coach basis (SIC). This tour is not private tour, you will share the trip with other guests come from different countries. Please notify us upon booking if you are looking for private tour, surcharge might be applied.

Pickup Service

Pickup service will be provided from the hotel/hostel/lodge that you are staying. Please wait at lobby while the tour guide will find you when he/she arrive. Dropoff service will be provided after travelling, please notify us upon booking if your dropoff location is differ from pickup location.

Insurance

Tourist transportation insurance included. Please contact your insurance agency for personal travel insurance.
